SimplifiedAuthKit

Open-source Swift package

I kept needing the same Apple and Google sign-in setup in my apps, so I made it a package. SimplifiedAuthKit handles the Firebase integration, sign-in buttons, and session helpers so I can get on with the rest of the app.

What it does

Provider sign-in

Helpers for Apple and Google sign-in with a consistent result interface.

Reusable buttons

Provider-specific UIKit buttons keep integration code small.

Session utilities

Current-user helpers, sign-out, and auth-state observation support a complete client workflow.

What I used

Swift

Package implementation and typed authentication results.

Swift Package Manager

Dependency distribution and Xcode integration.

Firebase Authentication

Underlying identity and session service.

Google Sign-In

Google provider integration and URL scheme validation.

AuthenticationServices

Sign in with Apple and provider credentials.

UIKit / CryptoKit

Native buttons and nonce hashing for the Apple flow.

Using the package

import SimplifiedAuthKit

SimplifiedAuthKit.signIn(with: .google, from: self) { result in
    // Handle the authenticated user or sign-in error.
}

Where it stands

Available on GitHub through Swift Package Manager.
